Flushed with success, the WGLR film unit have been out again today. This time they rode on a down train behind the tramway diesel with a train of empty timber wagons bound for the Clun Forest and the start of work on Tuesday morning. We leave from platform 2 at Gooey, pause in the Narrows before crossing Church Street and then run into Cockshutt where the token is exchanged. We then set off up the Glascwm Interchange Tramway branch, passing the entrance to RAF Ffynon Garew on the way.

Even better than the first one!

you really have created the rural British narrow gauge "feel" so well. I had a weird "on holiday" feeling- my holiday's are normally marked by a ride on such a holiday!

excellent, Mel. very picturesque, the buildings look great from this perspective.
nice slow running, too
:)

It's just so, just right Mel....

I think everyone's said all there is to say, so I'll just endorse everyone of the above posts, only to add that it really is excellent definition on that video.

Really good video, Mel. I enjoyed that trip.

Rik
PS The smoothness of the journey makes me even more determined to go down the battery-powered route

Thanks guys. The diesel Kof was not a great performer on (analogue) track power Rik and wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. But since conversion to battery RC, it's become one of my favourites.
