Whilst perusing ebay.de, I came across a seller by the name of "foxip54" who specialises in name plates for Austrian/Swiss G Scale and H0e Scale locos.

I need to make sure that the donor locos are correct for the name assigned by using my "Bahn im Bild" and Schmalspurdurch Osterreich" books.

Once done, I will have two different Epoch of U class; Stlmb (SteierMarkischeLandesbahn) and OBB. Just need to decide which locos get badged.
And here was I thinking that I just had 'U Class locos'......3 green 2 grey and a black one. &:

Around 70 U Class variants were built between 1900 and 1929 or thereabouts Keith.
I'm dividing mine into StmLB and OBB types to cover two Epoches
Technical stuff!

I see he's etched them in brass which is a pity as if he'd used nickel silver they'd better resemble the cast aluminium of the prototype but very neat indeed Paul. Did .53 have plates, the photos I have only show painted numbers on the U's on the Steyr?

Nice plates, they certainly lift your U's all 8? Of them. Link did not work for me, does he do German Plates?

Sorry always questions from me!

Thought I would add a few pics to this thread (for those who don't know I used to be Stainzmeister).

These were taken at dusk tonight
