Not much new G scale at all, only some revamped passenger rolling stock in various liveries.......
Oh well, after the disappointing sales of the still great 1:20.3 scale C19, Bachmann said that they would not probably do any new G scale models....now we know 'tis true.

Clarification: Bachmann said they were going to halt production on any new g scale Spectrum line items until they had sold off what they already have warehoused in China. Same for On30... both are slumping.

Still...its bodes very sorely for large scale that demand is softer than I have ever seen it. But I have to admit I may very well pick up those Grizzly Flats cars :P

and yet you still cant buy a decent passenger car to go with the 440 and 260 other than the ams one

If you're into HO scale, you are in good shape ::)

I think you answered your query there ;) A Spectrum version would cost similar so not worth it as AMS already there. One thing that amazes me is that they never copied the G 4-4-0 in On30 but produced a smaller and less classic version! Eureka sits on my bookcase as they sell for so little she's better off just looking great :)

While the low volume cheap to tool high end metal (and wood) stuff keeps multiplying the mid range high cost to tool that needs to sell slumps. Tells you a bit about what is happening to the economic demographics amongst consumers in the western economies. Thought for today. Max.

there are no duckbill or the early style passenger cars available,, there are plenty different styles to the ams cars, even slightly shorter

if they want to save costs make it part of the big hauler range, it would sell well too

maby piko will make a range in 1 20,,,,,,
