Hi Rob

What I want to do is to give my 2-6-0 a bigger tender, so a larger body that would fit on to the chassis would be ideal. The chassis size is 240mm x 95mm maximum, so I guess an ideal body would be about 220 x 90. Any heifght above 60mm would be good too.

I hope this helps - and thanks for getting in touch

You might try gluing on an inch of styrene, or scrap tender around the bottom. works for me. Here is an Annie tender "biggerised"

Connie tenders are a bit on the wide side, what 260 loco is it ?

Rob that looks fantastic !

I've had a look and mated my Conso tender to the Mogul (having been prompted to do so by Jonathan - thaks Jonathan !) - yes it's wider, but matches very well - and as there are examples of wider/narrower tenders being used prototypically, that'll do for me !

So now I need to get an Annie when the new one appears later this year, and have a go at conversion as you have done. You must have increased the size of the cab too - and I love your rivet work !

Please elucidate (if that's the right worm)

Excellent, Rob, thanks !

Now to delve in to Smegworld....yeeuuuwwwwwwww !

Hope you don't mind, but all that's saved Rod (why did I call you Rob ?), because my tiny brain can't cope with too much at a time !

Love the conversion though, has my blood up and running !
