Bachmann Bogies

I am building a fairly long coach with 4 wheel bogies at each end.

I have bought a set of Bachman "Die-cast 4' Arch Bar Freight Truck" bogies. I am very pleased with the items, well made with sprung wheels

The only problem is how best to join them to the under side of the coach, I wonder if anybody has experience fitting these ?

The central fitting point is a partly concave dome, so just fitting a flat washer would seem slightly crude

I have e-mailed Bachmann parts department but so far no response

I have several Spectrum sprung wagons and because these bogies are fully sprung and compensating like the real thing all they need is a simple screw fixing with a washer. You don't need the any domed mount or such to allow the bogies to tip up and down and side by side as on most LGB models and others from the toy market, all the bogie fixing has to do is to allow the bogie to turn like a wheel. You can twist these bogie frames much more than would be caused by even the most uneven track without damage.
