When I saw the title "Atmospheric railway" I thought it was going to be about a railway operated by differential air pressure, like 19th century Dublin's Dalkey Atmospheric Railway, or the 21st century Aeromovel Rapid Transit System used in Porto Allegre and Jakarta, see Aeromovel video

Fabulous! That's the sort of detail I aspire to, though will never achieve. Good inspiration on a tedious afternoon of sticking yet more little bits of plastic to other bits of plastic, dreaming my line could one day be as complete as that

Not a Russ Abbott garden railway with '.... a bit of atmosphere'

Vic Mitchell, of Middleton Press fame, made a model atmospheric railway and demonstrated it at the Midhurst model railway exhibition one year.

He probably did not even know it was happening till he reviewed his vid. Bet he wondered why the Cab Paint was damaged before though.

Great layout and a real sense of realism.
Plenty going on to give real interest.

Although my bag is American, I really do like detail and can really appreciate the love and care that this guy has put into his railway.
The landscaping is very well put together and believable, even if a 'tarpaulin' sized leaf scudded across the station area threatening to engulf a waiting passenger!

Knowing how much 'cleaning and tidying' is necessary on a detailed layout, I bet that he is well employed looking after it.
