I have some stl files from the Garden Rail November 2023 issue (got them from the RMWeb Forum) but do not have the article, unfortunately for me my subscription started in December 2023 (Christmas present).

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of that issue and you could perhaps copy the article and send it to me so I have a description of how they were built.
Dave Skertchley was the author and designer of the stle files that he is sharing free for personal use.

You could always reach out to Dave..
I am sure he would let you have a copy?

What was the article? I tend to cut the interesting bits out and keep them, so i may have it

I have reached out to Dave, he keeps himself quite private, despite being on so-shall mee-ja..
I have another source, and will have the physical magazine 'somewhere' here.. But have moved, am still in chaos. - I have found Garden Rail 2012, though!

Just to remind you, the 3d signal that you are searching for is made to 16 mm scale and will not look right with G scale trains. It was this signal that inspired me to design my own to a more G scale size.

Dave Skertchley's design has holes in it's base to screw onto the base board. Operation was up to you whether to connect to a point or to any other mechanism.

I'm thinking of bashing your design and the other one to suit my situation.
I'm planning on using 2 arms on the one post and servo drive will see how I go
