Aristocraft heavyweight observation car

Sold for 150.00 GBP
(inc. 0 GBP donated to website)
Deciding to thin out my collection a bit.

up for sale is my Aristocraft southern livery heavyweight observation car, complete with box (shelf worn) and original manual.

this carriage hasn’t had the best life, there is surface rust on some of the fittings and there is a step missing from one corner.

It has lights inside and marker lights on the rear corners which are track powered.

Any other Information please feel free to message me for a phone number, I feel the pictures speak for themselves

£150 or make me an offer. Don’t be shy!
Would prefer collection as the detailing on the model is absolutely stunning. Or can drop off locally (Herts/beds/bucks) for a bit of fuel cost. However I will post if your patient and at your own risk. It is beautifully detailed and wouldn’t want to be held accountable for damage

About to start a conversation.

I appreciate the world is pretty upside down right now and "life" generaly has to come before toy trains but at the risk of being impatient any update on posting, which you thought would be 10th/11th ?

Hi there,

apologies I have not been on here for a couple of weeks. Have no excuse really apart from time has gotten away from me!

mainly from being stuck at work and finally getting a day off this bank holiday.

I will get it boxed in the next couple of days and dropped off. Please bear with me a little bit longer.

regards,

Grant

Hi Dave,

hope all is well,

right again apologies for the delay, it is all packaged. I will aim to drop it at the post office tomorrow and get it on it’s way to you. Apologies with the delay again. But just keeping you in the loop.

Thanks again,

Grant

As the old advert used to go, "it's good to talk".
Thanks for the update.

... just keeping you in the loop.

Can we do another circle of that loop you mentioned please?
It's now forty four days since I paid you.

If you're in the middle of some sort of crisis I'm sorry for hassling you, but you haven't told me that so I can't know it or allow for it.

Without some comment like "I can only post on a Thursday" then I'd expect delivery timeframes like -
Small items, Jiffy bag stuff - a few days maybe a week is pretty normal.
Bigger stuff, like a coach, a week / ten days
After two weeks, that's a bit slow but mehh!

Six, now heading for seven weeks, honestly!

Tell me when you intend to post it and at that time either give me the tracking number or the reason why you didn't post it and your new plan. Rinse and repeat.

The coach arrived this morning, just as description and well packaged for it's journey.
Thanks

Dave

A bit of a bumpy landing, with a few somewhat ruffled feathers along the way but essentially all sorted.
Am I pleased to have completed (?) the set I was building? Yes!

Thanks for the thoughts.
