Hello,

just wondering if anyone might have some European style cast headlights (2-4) +

some cast loop couplings similar to the ones used on old Pearse locos

& 2 vac pipes

(or probably less likely - the whole front+rear beam/chopper coupling/vac pipe thing from an Accucraft Countess/Earl...?)

knocking around in their bits-boxes...??

(forgot to mention - it's for a steamer, so plastic is probably not the best choice :rolf: )

Many thanks!!

Thanks - will check again, last time I checked their catalogue I didn't notice any loop couplings which would fit under the central buffer ...

besides ....was hoping due to the number of UK steamers it may simply be quicker & easier to get the parts here... (apart from the headlights..)

GRS do whitemetal european style headlights. I'm sure they or Bradnbright should be able to supply al lthe bits you need.

I'm pretty sure Brandbright do a loop, but it's designed to fit in place of the centre buffer instead of under it if I remember rightly.

You are doing badly if you derail and take out the coupler- usually the buffer beam gets in the way first.

Lamps are on page 68, couplings page 93. (LGB loop style but made in metal.)
.. the couplings on page 93 are for their 1:22.5 "Feldbahn"-system which runs on 30mm track - got some of those at home - they are a smaller copy of the LGB-style ones and not in metal rather than in plastic - not suitable for the purpose...;)

Most Regner "Rremier" 1:22.5 engine kits are supplied with metal brass coupling loops as an alternative coupler so that they match LGB plastic loops. They are the same size as LGB and are available as spares from Regner.
