Not a bad pastiche given the limitations of the chassis, though it's a pity the tender is so short (and I'm pretty sure there weren't any SAR mallets with vanderbilt tenders, but never mind.

Lot of money though.

I suppose for a one-off from the old LGB archive that's not too bad a price for something unique and with some provenance. Wonder how much was paid for it at the big LGB auction.

Must have mis-translated the german, I'd assumed it was a homemade kitbash from an 0-6-6-0T chassis and sundry other LGB bits rather than a factory mock-up for a model that didn't make production. If it is ex-factory from the big auction a while back, £700+ is certainly fair from the rarity value alone.

Well you may be correct, I only glanced quickly but I interpreted it as being something from the LGB archive.

I cannot afford it :crying:at this moment in time though. No so sure about the camoflaged Mallet listed below though.
No thinking sensibly its a bit too "off area" for my line, love it though.
