Afternoon Running Trains

Spent this afternoon at Daves running trains mostly Rio Grande 1:20.3 scale .
Dave had several K-27's running one pulling a Gramps tanker train one pulling a Gondola train and one pulling coaching stock , we found a few clearance problems on the way with a low bridge and some over hanging bushes . I took along my C-16 with a small freight train which ran realy well Dave also had his live steam Shay in motion very nice
End of the day we had Nigels and my RDC3 running togeather which kept coming off in several spots so Dave got out his pick for some track maintenance all was fine by the end of the day .
Cheers for a great afternoon Dave
Took a few pics inbetween running trains

Looks like a fun day, might get one of those pickaxes myself, good way to add leverage,
nice neat looking trackwork there are you planning a holiday in Cornwall by any chance?

Re:Afternoon Running Trains

Cheers for all the comments Dave's layout is fantastic to run on only got a few pics of the line and the stock Nigel had some nice Boston & Maine and Southern loco's running
Did have one head on crash :wits: on one of the loops Dave's Shay ran into my C-16 we both thought we were on different loops and that the loco's would pass each other lucky we were going realy slow :nail:

I think i'm right in saying that the viaduct is made up from GRS concrete castings does look very nice when Dave has the waterfall flowing behide

Re:Afternoon Running Trains

Great pictures of a lovely line. The viaduct and adjacent planting is really something. Thanks for posting the photos.
