Advice on airbrush kit

With selling off my DCC gear I'm going to be able to spend some dosh on an airbrush. I've resisted before now and have been more than happy with the results from rattle cans. I know this has been discussed on here before and opinions are divided, but what's the latest thinking on whether or not the cheapo airbrush kits from eBay are worth the investment? Eg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400488286503

I'm thinking I'd go with the one with a 3L tank attached. It seems to have a moisture trap which I recall is important. If I went for one of these is it worth just getting the compressor and then a better quality airbrush or are the two aribrushes supplied OK?

Has anyone actually used one of these - do they do the job or would I be wasting my money?

I have a similar compressor with tank, with "name" airbrush got from Ebay about a year ago. Was actually bought to power my air powered points, tank maintains the 30 psi required to operate the system without continuous running (that's the benefit of a tank).

You only get what you pay for so would not expect much performance/life from the airbrushes included. Unless you are getting into some very fine detail stuff and weathering then a well warmed rattle can and a very basic cheapo Badger (OEM'ed by many, Humbrol, Revell, etc') mini spray gun, for more confined areas of masked up paint jobs, will do. The compressor will save you loads on compressed air cans if you envisage the work. Max.

Thanks chaps
I'll keep an eye on eBay in case something better comes along. There's a Ripmax compressor on there (as new) for £75 BIN which is tempting - but then it's more expensive than the kit which includes two airbrushes
