I only just found this video which gives a great preview of what is about to become available from Accucraft.
I have one ordered.

Superb model as is the prototype a superb looking machine, I hope that the Bluebell get theirs working again. Was hoping to see this model running but perhaps soon.

Maybe it’s just my poor vision but the driving wheel counterweights seem to be misaligned by one spoke?

Classic late Victorian era very nicely done. The paint job on the model in the video is particularly well done. Often Accucraft's paint jobs are a little too orange peel for my liking. :nerd:

It is definitely 'not the same' on both axles, position-wise..
Was this the way the prototype was setup? - Else the connecting rod appears too long? :wondering:

Looks like the track is being made by

KATO....

It was only when I started semi-professional (with the emphasis on the 'semi') building of 00 model locos, that I had to look at this sort of thing in detail.

The front wheel will have a heavier balance weight because it is counter-balancing not only the coupling rod, but the con-rod to the pistons. The rear wheel balance weight is only counter-balancing the coupling rod :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Do I qualify for a new anorak ?? >:)>:)

Interesting. As they say, you’re never too old to learn something. Hats off to the manufacturer for accuracy.

There are at least four movies on Youtube. Try MrBraMoos' channel - here is just one of the four............there is also a pair of matching passenger coaches, too, but sadly for some, they are almost £700 each. Very nice though. You'll probably be able to get a better look at the Accucraft Open Day, hopefully later on this year. :)

I've taken the liberty of 'borrowing' this image from Accucraft's post on the G1 FB page....I think that a few people here might like to run one on THEIR track.

More update from Accucraft UK with the usual nod for their useage - I mentioned above that there were suitable coaches being made - here's the skinny on them - words are those of Accucraft UK''s MD Graham Langer.

The L&SWR coach livery is very eye-catching - put it behind a loco in L&SWR light green and it makes the GWR look positively mundane. Fortunately, these are the wrong scale for me :whew::whew:

It was the wrong scale for me too but I took the bait on the mud gaurd and spokes. Sheer elegance.
The coaches are very nice too but it does get a little out there although I need something in scale for the Adams radial to haul.
