Nice photos, Steve, the new camera works well!
A very pleasant afternoon with great hospitality - thanks Mike and Lorraine! Wonderful weather too, a perfect day for watching trains go by.

great set off photos off a classic line!

There was one incident at Beavercreek today, I think the G Scale Rail Accident Investigation Board (GSRAIB) will get involved in, or though the person concerned was later seen carrying out his duties.

Well I observed the whole incident! There seemed to be a certain nonchalent use of two locos where one was seen to chase the front runner but not adhere to the signalling policy. I hasten to add this was the result of Bigjack shay not travelling even with the customary slow speed that is required of such a loco ;). DCC shay stuck on notch 1, Battery porter on notch 2 ....only disaster would eventually happen! Well I was in charge of the controller and...ahem .......... that was the the problem.....:@

Many thanks to all those of you who came and have posted such goodly comments. Many thanks to you for attending to our little train event especially to Richie and Sara who came for the weekend. I was really up against it this time due to the damage from tree-fellers and a years neglect and Richie was a star in helping me get the line cleaned and working. After much worry about weather, and problems getting everything just so, it turned out to be a glorious day which Lorraine and I thouroughly enjoyed. Last guest, Tony, left at 9.00pm!
Thanks to you Richie, Sara, Gordon, Bigjack, Mary, John, Jon, Stuart (Marshman), Tony, Edward? +two +wife, ...I will now go and collapse...or have another beer.........yes another beer I think

Lovely stuff, love the coke artic unit:thumbup:

Yes so did a lot of folk especially john who was suggesting that he might suddenly put on weight with it stuck up his shirt! He had commented that it would look great with his Coke train. It was damn hard to get so Beavercreek is where it stays!

Hey,... you talkin' to me!
Sory about the background chatter Tony. Looking forward to seeing the vid. I did not get any photos...real shame as the light was real good for giving a model railway real visual 'depth'
