A couple of yards of 32mm gauge track or rail

Has anyone got any 32mm gauge track knocking about which they don't want? I'm constructing some mine buildings with a 2' gauge feeder and need a short length of track to run into it ( a couple of yards should be enough). It doesn't matter how battered it is as it's cosmetic rather than operational.

Failing that if you have some lengths of Peco rail to which I could add my own sleepers - or even some 0n30 track could be pressed into service.

Happy to pay whatever you think is appropriate (within reason).

Someone has listed loads of used track on e-bay. Some of it is Mamod which i think is 32mm. He is selling in bundles of 5 with a starting price of £5.

Thanks I'll give it the once-over!

Edit: Just taken a look and it seems the £5 bundles are for steel track which might not last too long in my North West climate. However, he also has some Peco bundles with a starting price of £1.50 - however he says these are also 'steel'. I'm not sure if Peco made steel 32mm track or whether he's assuming nickel silver is steel. Anyway, if I can get a bundle of Peco track for under a fiver (but with £7 postage) then it might be worth it.

Rik, it may be aluminium. Peco did do that, I have some.........................that I didn't intend. It dulls down outside, but never looks like rusty rail.

Try searching for "Lima O gauge track" on eBay (Collectables). It has a light profile but I'm not sure if it's steel or not. Prices seem quite reasonable.

Hi Bob
When you say you have some - does that mean you have some to spare? I can always paint it rust colour.

Unfortunately Rik, no. I have used it all. I bid on ebay for it, not realising that here was such a thing. When I got it I was most surprised, and also had paid over the odds for it, nickle silver price. One day, if I'm feeling flush, I might replace it.

Might have a few lengths of tenmille 32mm gauge at our club that we can't use, its flat bottom rather than bull head like peco. Can have a look tomorrow if its of any use? How much do you need? Memory tells me theres maybe 3 yards?

Three yards would be about right - thanks

I forgot all about it today, had a hell of a day running the 7 1/4'' railway. Will put a reminder in my phone to check on wed's when I'm up next and will report back.
