3D printed WDLR bogies

I'm working on some 3D printed WDLR class D and class C bogies to go with my simplex. I will make the wagon part out of wood. The files are found on thingiverse.
7/8ths on 45mm track.

Very nice.
Are you using resin printed wheels? I've tried this and found them to be utter dirt magnets - and not really hard enough to take much in the way of running. I was getting quite noticeable wheel wear after a few thousand metres of running.

I have found that wheels 3D filament printed in ABS or PLA+ are much more long lived, with less muck being picked up and much better wear resistance.

I have some resin due tomorrow that can actually be machined to try out for the wheels. these are temporary. I have not used any printed wheels in the past. Thanks for the tip.

Decided to go with metal wheels. waiting for them to arrive. I did figure out how to print the bogies so they come apart for wheel maintenance.
