3d Printed Tram

I saw the thread on the 3D pannier tank, and just thought I would share a picture of my 3D printed Tram. It was designed to house a brushless fan to clear leaves off the track, rather than being a "scale" model (and I did put a "Toby" face on it for my grandson). The full files, with more pictures and some videos are available on thingyverse:

The actual printing caused me some grief, as the ends pulled from the bed when printing, which is why the "wooden part" is not as well finished as it could be. However, it is a "Useful Engine".

Perhaps I can encourage others to put their 3d designs on thingyverse so we can all try and build them? There are some excellent designs already there!

well, the tram is not your only project on thingyverse.
specially your rerailer would deserve to be shown as well.

which printer do you use?
Thanks for your kind comment, I thought other people might look at the other models already on thingyverse, both mine and others. In particular, UTJ's stephensons rocket is spectacular! I built one and its coach and you should be able to see the pictures of the results there, so no point in duplicating them here....
My printers are , first, a shapeoko based home build with about 300 by 200 build heated bed and large cover. Then I also have a mini kossel built from bits made by the shapeoko. The mini kossel has a 170 mm dia heated bed.
I find that I cannot keep the air temperature in the shapeoko up high enough to prevent large items in abs warping, despite using 3D lac on the bed. I only get to about 40c air temp. Printing with pla I can get large items without warping.
The mini kossel only has a wind shield, so I only use it for smaller items, but it prints reasonably well, and I love the motion!
