Am I missing something here, or once your order is submitted and you don't get the discount, can you cancel your order without any issue ?

My guess is that their computer system is not up to the task.
 
That's funny: for many months the FA-1 was listed @ $200. They upped the price 10% just recently, so the effective discount is significantly less. Is this called deceptive advertising?
 
Peter I have over 20 thousand items in my catalog. At times we raise the prices on a few pieces either when quantity runs low or if the manufacturer raises the price. We do not raise the prices for "deceptive advertising". If you noticed the other Polks generation items were not raised. Unfortunately the one item that you wanted was raised sometimes that happens when you wait months to buy something.

We are working on a new backend computer system that will do it automatically. We are hoping by the end of summer this will be implemented. We have been working over a year and invested a lot of money into it. We are hoping that it will be a lot easier for the consumers.
 
Thanks for the explanation, Ken. Sorry for my harsh post. It's just that we get so much of this kind of advertising here and everybody knows that the base prices are fictitious. I accept that this is not the case here with the Aristo FA.
