Hey there,
I´m offering 120 meter of LGB brass rail profile for a friend of mine.
His father had good connection to the former producer of the LGB rails so he made him
32 rails profiles 3,81 meter long.
To be able to send them to a new owner I would cut them apart in 1,90 meter pieces.
My friend is asking 350 GBP incl.p&p to UK.
So you get 30 kg of rail profiles !!!!

Well Stockers is looking for track and Gizzy needs to run an ICE (the DB might need some new track when they have finished with that tunnel) so it looks good :)

I'm okay for track at the moment thanks Puggy, and Soeren....
 
So that would work out at about 6 quid a metre (of actual track, ie: 2 metres of rail) plus whatever the sleeper sections cost.... not a bad deal!

No - sorry Soeren - those wont fit. Tenmille track is a smaller section than LGB

unfortunately he is selling only one box I know its an auction but when you get away with 25 quid its
still a good deal cause the best selling price for this box is usually 50 quid.

Hey there,
I thought I´ve got enough wooden sleeper to fit these rails but I´ve got only 63 made of oak(160 x 23 x 8 mm).
The other 800 -1000(estimate) are beech so not really good for outdoors.

How about making a mould and making cast concrete sleepers? Damn the postage, they won't rot, not even in Britains sunny climes. :wait:
