Light maintenance on a point. Some locomotives skates kept catching on the opposite polarity rail, causing a short circuit. Good thing for the Dremel so that now the skate passes over without brushing it. Mostly a problem on PIKO locomotives.

A bit of a test earlier in the week has proven to be good. I bought some of this glue for gravel. I have applied it where I have troublesome ballast, that bounces onto the path when it rains, or gets dragged by the hosepipe etc. Working well.

Be interested to hear how it works, I suspect it is likely to be watered down external grade PVA with a little washing up liquid to help it spread.

Always wanted to weather some of my rolling stock, but always been scared to touch such expensive stuff. I won't do all my stock, but decided to let loose on one of my Hooker Tanks.

Where I work, a colleague does all that war game stuff, and paints his figures at work in quiet times. He asked if he could have a go on one of my wagons. I'm extremely pleased.

Garden done once again, just waiting for a gap in the daily rain to resume glueing some ballast in delicate areas of the railway. It's kept the railway very tidy in the areas I've already done, very impressed.

Two engines never to be seen together. I've been tamping some point work and needed to test my CO-CO locomotives, as they're the most sensitive to track conditions. All good for now. Locomotive shed has seen regular use today when dodging the rain.
