Today I have completed the garden path which complements the railway into the garden loads better!

Yep, super hard to lay level, but they do look nice and rustic. They are attached to the net, really easy to use!!!
OK I'll ask what is that black thing to the left ( with 5 cylinders in a row ?
It is known as a 'feather', and is used on colour-light signals to indicate the route set..

Yeah, as the others have said above, its a part of British Colour light signalling. Inherited from the cellar of Sheffield PSB when we shut down in May 2016.

We don't read the fine print. We just barrel through with a pig headed stubbornness, pounding our beer mugs on the bar.....More beer barkeep !!!!!
Last pictures of the new paving as I got rained off yesterday. Can't wait to use the railway again! 
Cold day today but got a train out for a run. Excuse the cats facilities, I would usually move them before photos.
Tidied the track work up today after finding a few pussy cat surprises in the soil. Cleared a few plants out, didn't realise some had gotten so big. Can't wait for the weather to get better, not much incentive to use the railway at the moment.
