I suppose I'm not the only one to have ended up with loads of plastic wheels doing nothing. Apart from freight for wagons, what uses have others put them to?

Flog em on EBay, use the dosh to buy useful stuff with. Good start if you have no experience with EBAY. Little to worry about if you get skanked and they always go. I start them at .99p for 4 axles plus the postage costs. Never failed, sometimes you get a few quid rather than the .99p.

I am from the US so I did not know what .99p stood for. Maybe if you would have put .99GBP in your post my Siri inquiry would have told me, and I would not have needed to ask the Doh question as you put it. I thought we as members of G scale central were supposed to be nice to one another when posting. I am shocked that you dunnyrail who has many many posts would post a reply like that.

Oh sorry did not mean to sound condescending to you, just my lack of description. Oops.

Apparently you "nationality" depends on the location of the server your ISP uses.

True! If you use a proxy server to avoid your web activity being logged, for instance, your nationality flag will be where that server IP is located.
I've been virtually around the world several times when there was a dysfunctional issue with this site's old hosting set-up.

The video recently posted here on G Scale Central has been set here to start at a point where spare wheels are used line side. 51 second mark.

It should either have been written as 0.99 GBP, or as 99p (99 pence), not a (potentially confusing) mixture of the two.... ;)

Either way it's a penny short of one pound (1 GBP), and is a favourite "minimum starting price" for eBay listings over here - I'm sure they tend to use 99 cents on your side of the Pond for the same reason.

And yes, we all try to be nice on here most of the time... JonD's comment was, I think, aimed at his own posting - not at your question in response to it!

Jon.
