This cable car spent the entire winter exposed to the elements. It's severe natural weathering.

The plastic used for the Rigi Cable Car isn't as good as that on the LGB trains, but then, it wasn't really made for outdoor use....

The plastic is exactly the same .... my Dad's cablecar has been outside permanently for nearly 15 years with no ill effect. The reason why the cablecar above is in that condition is because it is one of the early tinplate ones.
