Some train related re-releases for next year

There seems to be some playmobil train related variant re-releases scheduled for next year according to amclicks:

I always wonder how 'dressed' the advertising pictures are? - Though Playmobil are pretty good at supplying extra 'play-value' with their buildings and vehicles..

Interestingly, they are in the Playmobil Plus catalogue not the main one and are part of a Western re-release. The Victorian mansion and some related sets are also in that catalogue, so maybe the Victorian car and truk will reappera soon.

I had the water Tower and it spent a decade or more outside looking very good indeed. It still does service (well some of it) as a Sawdust extraction facility in a small woodworking yard.

It might be a good time for people who intend to revert the new store back into a train station to get some spare train station stickers :

It's notable that the new train station roof seems red, while the farm house roof seems blue:

The older variants could be more easily merged for a larger train station since they both had green roofs:

Both the Railway Station and the farm house would make great line side buildings for sundry uses with little or no changes.

The old farm house is currently on sale in Germany for 20% off Große Western-Farm - 6410 - and in the UK for 25% off Large Western Cabin - 6410 -
It's no longer available in the USA, so it might not be available much longer in Europe either. It's strange that the new farm house with blue roof is supposed to be more expensive than the new train-station/store. I imagine that blue or green roofs would last longer under UV rays than red roofs would.

I'm new to Playmobil, didn't realize they had so many interesting items. How tall are the door openings on their structures? I model in 1:24 scale.

The door size varies with different buildings. The older steck style buildings, such as the western buildings shown above have doors that are by themselves 3.5 inches tall, though they stand a little taller than that next to figures as the door jam and frame add a bit of height. But some doors for other buildings are only 3 inches tall, such as the doors added to the red caboose in the video in post #6 above.

Thanks Multi-B. A 3.5 inch door opening would be a 7' door opening in 1:24 scale. Great for a 3" (6') person!

There is a door frame and door which can be bought separately. I have some and will post photos and details toward the end of the coming week.
