Good morning folks. Dawn is just breaking over Northwest Leicestershire. Another fine and dry day is forecast for this area today.
I will be at the CFR all day, a normal Saturday running session is planned.

Good morning.

Busy day today for the Thin Controller. Need to package up a Bachmann large scale coach, post office trip, hair cut, move some furniture, and if time allows, run some trains with newly acquired stock. To coin a phrase - "A man's work is never finished.............or even started" (as my wife likes to add).

Have a great day.

Paul :)

Morning all, sunny but cool start to the day. Wonder what will emerge in the voices in my head to tell me what to do?.

Good morning all. Dry for the morning, showers again this afternoon.

Morning all, sunny but cool start to the day. Wonder what will emerge in the voices in my head to tell me what to do?.

Did you not hear these words drifting through the ether?

'Buy a little something railway related' Think of the expectation of a parcel coming.

Nice colour scheme - I s'pose you'll just have to chop the last coupling off :p:p

We have fond memory of riding in coaches like that - especially the curry supper train, complete with a bottle of Engine Shed red :clap::clap:

I spent this morning, from around 9:30, over at the little railway at Ramsey Mereside, re-proofing the woodwork on a 600ft track with untold amounts of seperate sidings and spurs., as anybody who has been there would readily testify. Chief among my efforts was an 8 foot long, twin-track all-wood truss bridge of astounding complexity, with many sneaky little corners, nooks and crannies needing a goodly glop of, uh, glop. It'd be this one here on a recent Youtube video -
