Good morning folks. Dawn is just breaking over Northwest Leicestershire, a fine day is forecast for this area today.
I will be at the CFR all day today, a normal running session is planned.

I’ve been at the CFR for the last couple of hours. Everything is ready for today’s running session:

First trains of the day passing each other near Bobs Crossing.
I‘m also eagerly awaiting the arrival of a recent acquaintance who is starting out with live steam. He will be bringing along a Roundhouse “Jack”.

Morning folks.
Cool but dry in County Armagh.

I've been trying to work out exactly what I'm looking at :think:

Just to clear up a confusing photo of Tua station yesterday. That was a roadside view. The other side looks normal. There is a small museum attached with some rolling stock awaiting restoration.
Have a good day,
Trevor

Morning folks. I thought it was a train testing day today, but I obviously got it wrong. It's next week, but with the Rule of Six coming into force on Monday, it might be a non-event. Still I could play in my own garden

Unicorns do exist, but you have to look for them.
A1 condition, and cheaper than evilbay IMG_20200911_132142.jpg IMG_20200911_133656.jpg IMG_20200911_135808.jpg

Good morning. Off to the shops sadly to look for a new latop for my 16 year old daughter who's doing media studies. Therefore needs to be a high specification (expensive) one. But as I've spent a lot of money in the past 3 weeks on LGB/Piko, I can't complain. She's worth it............ :)

I love it. The green/black is a nice contrast. Thanks for sharing the picture on here.

Thanks to another forum member, I'm off to GRS next week to collect an LGB 2-6-2 in the standard colour of black. Hopefully my last big purchase for a while.............hopefully.............

Looks good Mike. It's gone to a good home. Sometimes when you see something you just have to take the bull by the horns, or in this case, the unicorn ...................

Hopefully? ... Surely you mean unfortunately!

(Or do you fear the consequences of any further purchase?)

Good morning, All!
My recent purchases have been a lot more modest.. :(

The most-recent, will require some detective-work to identify the prototype, and where / how it came into being.. - A Playmobil motor-block, with (possibly) Slater's wheels? :wondering::nerd:
