As the rain held off today I gave the little Saxon Meyer a run with a small mixed train. Here is a short clip.

Very nice indeed. I like the painted backdrop , a nice touch to break up the wall surface.

The IVk is a very nice loco. Its about time Regner does a re-run of these kits (and others ;) )

I think Regner are too busy trying to produce new models to go back and do re runs of the old ones.

I have asked about older models too, without success, one has to wait and watch for old kits to come on the market. That's how I got lucky and purchased an unopened TSSD kit from a chap in Germany.

Palmerston, I would rather have the VII K than the Harz as I have the rolling stock to go with
it ;)

The 7k was released some 10 years ago. If you can get hold of one you will need to add a lot of parts and do mods take it up to todays standard. There have been several articles about converting the piston to slive valves as there where some issues with the piston valves. (denied by Manfred ;) )
