Thanks for this info (Ross suggested I take a look) - they don't state the mAh rating - might be a false economy IF they aren't up to around 1000 AAA / 2800 AA / 250 PP3.... but I will keep an eye on them!

As you say Ross, 7dayshop are 8.4v but @ 250mAh

and the AAs did not last 5 mins in my old camera
but could be good for lighting LEDS

Cannot do worse than get there (LIDL's) and check them out (and the red/white liquid stuff)..cos its quite good. after all..most wines are trucked around Europe and at sea in stainless steel tankers! £4 or £9 stuff.Roll On Floor Laughing
