Xav,

I like that and what you have done with the containers. Presumably they are all the second generation type with the ribs underneath, so they can go on the trailers as well as the wagons. If I didn't know better, I would say that they are factory finish.

James
Thank you James,
As always you're right , they are all the second generation.
I did paint them because all was mixed ( blue door, purple door and roof... )
and the purple color of some parts was too far away of the railroad in my mind :)

One day I will offer myself the orange and the green which are very nice

Playmobil made a good work in harmonizing the template and the compatibility between their trains and trucks

This inspired us to haul some stuff from our garden too, most of which is not pictured here:

This was the first time we put the trains outside. Now I know how important it is to have a good foundation, and how important weights are for taller cars on curves. I managed to get the track well enough for the pictured train to go full speed without derailing. The 4054 didn't do so well at 12.6 volts; The large wheels seemed to have too much play and kept coming off the rails.

Other team must go back

Followed by red loco to take another wagon

Here is a quiet moment for technicians,
to see the damages
and complain about their Chiefs....

Fortunately, the red loco comes back quickly

The operation can be finished

We need to carry the beam and take the red wagon

It will wait until tomorrow,
it's enough for today....

Very enjoyable. Just goes to show it doesn't have to be moving pictures to tell a story.

Thanks for posting,

At he end of not the best of days, this improved things greatly.

I like the detail - the cause of the accident, the failure to have the right equipment, chuntering about the bosses.

And I like the storage tanks, too.
