It is late, but I had to look. :)

Have you seen the new Marklin/LGB releases? - Could be a new era of little people to populate the railway?

Yes, I noticed those but they are a different size from Playmobil as they have rather clumsily jointed legs and arms.

No,having looked more closely, scrub that remark.

Very good photos and I like the restaurant car. It's an idea I have been toying with for a couple of years, but have never taken it beyond that.

Thank you Gordon.
You had to take care of your 4052 which deserves your attention.
You will find the opportunity one day.

It's interesting how the restaraunt car has the door shifted over on one end but not on the other.

I hadn't noticed that. I had seen the menu board on the end of the carriage, but I had missed that that had meant the door had to be moved.

Nice selection of Hoopers, have 2 of those types but not the Blue one with Yellow Containers. That type never fitted into my need for differing Hoppers.

Doing fine here with the passenger car you sent:
Nice video, although a slower running speed for the loco would allow us to appreciate your custom work on the 4100s.

When I set up a temporary track outside, I find that pieces of track can usefully be used to level off any tilts to one side or the other and get a level track surface.

A suggestion, if I may. We've all tried various methods of keeping our citizens upright, from glue, to pins that stick in the earth. A few years ago, I have a brainstorm. Small rare earth magnets ! A picture will explain it far better than words. The sheet metal pieces you see in these photos is "aluminized". That is, it's plated with an aluminum finish that keeps the metal from rusting. That fact is not really important, but is nice if you can come across such material. Otherwise any plated metal will do. And even if it does rust, it may be a good thing as it might blend in with the surrounding area.
