I fear this may be a new definition of the word 'bargain'.. ;)

But we all have our 'Achilles heel' item, I guess?:rolleyes:

Hello Phil,

Good point, but I paid far less for this, (including postage) that the selling price of any others I have seen and had the opportunity to bid on, before postage was taken into account.

So for me, that is a bargain, but I freely acknowledge that one man's meat is another man's poison!

However, as recently as 2008/9 the going rate was around 40 GBP for one of these, but I just wanted to complete my five car rake. I now have enough PM carriages to run the peak hour communter service from Waterloo........

Maybe Gordon has a point too?

James

If both buyer and seller are pleased with the result then all is well with the world. :)

And many thanks to bbbb
This is completely unnecessary, I merely asked if the seller could make an exception and ship to the UK. Let that be a lesson to you: If an Ebay item doesn't ship to your country, it doesn't hurt to ask if they will make an exception. I feel far more blessed to have received some lenses and stuff from James to help with my 4034. His tool box covers really are quite well made.

Nicely said.

I always accept thanks gratefully, it makes up for the times when you don't get thanked! :)

Ages ago I promised Brian I would take a photo of a 5 car Playmobil UPRR train....

I live in England and it can rain a lot, especially when i am not working.

Anyway, today I got home from work and it was sunny, so finally, here it is:

The loco and caboose are from the UPRR set too!

Sadly it looks like the driver is lying down on the job.
