Decided to kitbash my Playmobil 4010 into something more realistic. Powered by a spare Lgb Lce motor block. Right now it is just track powered while I finish the body and paint work. All the directional lighting is run and will be hooked up when I install a Piko 35040 rc system with a 9.6v NiMH 2000mah battery. It's still a work in progress and not an exact representation of a BR 185, it's a hybrid 101/185.

Nice to see someone else has seen the possibilities in the PM Swiss lecy for something very different. Needs a couple of pics and a link to this thread in the Toylike Thread.

Ever since I had one I wanted to kitbash it. I picked up a spare body really cheap and figured why not I had the parts.

Your vents look so much better than the playmobil stickers.

What is the white material and the yellow material?

The yellow is plastic sign material, same thickness as card stock. The white is pvc foam core, maybe 1/8" thickness.
