Unearthed during packing for the move.
A New-ray battery powered, (2 x C cells.) 45mm gauge loco with a weird mechanical whistle. (Goes off at seemingly random intervals.) Made by New-ray and marked 1998.
I've seen these in green and black, but never seen another red one.
My question is, were they based on a real loco? Almost looks like a U class or Württemberg T3, but not quite.
Marklin made a HO 0-6-0 KLVM loco that shares the same running number and tank capacity markings, which looked quite similar, but again without the protruding smokebox.
Any ideas? Also appears to be about 1:32 unless anyone knows better.
Paul.

Nothing like I have ever seen, but you can never say never with Narrow Gauge or Industrial NG as there were so many different builders and lines in Europe.
