I’ve had a busy morning at the CFR and now I’m relaxing in the shade with a mug of char. I have classic FM on the radio, they are playing music from the Harry Potter movie.
Another picture from yesterday’s running session:-

Good Day All. Just had my began and watched Union Station, with Joan Blondell, 1932. SWMBO simply rolls her eyes.........."How can you watch those old movies" she asks. My answer is, do you listen to music that is hundreds of years old ? Do you read books even older ?

The grass is a little long, and presently very wet.. - Not conducive to use of a cheapy electric lawnmower.. :(:shake:

<edit>
It would also be an affront, to those who have lawns to call my grass thus.. ;)
Excuses for not mowing the lawn:

1. Too wet to cut
2. Too hot to cut
3. It's raining
4. It looks like its gonna rain
5. Too windy
6. Mower has run out of petrol (remember this excuse doesn't work with electric or hand powered mowers)
7. Mower has broken
8. Bad back
9. Er, that's it.........

I’ve got my flu jab booked for the 22nd of this month. I’m just waiting for a text to tell me of the protocol they will be following.
Basically you bare your bum and they jab it with a long needle from a social distance :nerd:

I've been trying to put it off the last three years, I shall hang out a few more years yet :worried::worried::worried: I don't like jabs, or anything medical, I fall over
I last had a jab 4 years ago and the side effects were as bad as the illness, so for the following years I didn't bother and luckily got away with it. But like I said this year we will probably have flu and Coronavirus flying around (literally) at the same time, too much of a risk :worried:

G'day, all :hi:. Bright and cool out there .
Have things to do, if I could remember what they are o_O.
As for flu shots, have to get hold of doc, and that's a problem because she has reduced her office hours.
Onward :nerd:
Yeah, I get like that with medicinal brandy.

Are you having a bad day?

Compared with what, exactly?

THIS is 45,000 people simultaneously having a bad day, and night...this WAS Talent, Oregon.

My appointment is now on the 16th September at 12.12pm. I’m instructed to wear a face mask, so I will probably wear this one:-
