I have just completed two narrow gauge coaches built from Brandbright kits, these kits are some of the best on the market.
I hope the photos attach ok as this is a first attempt

Very nice job, Rod. I think that a string of these would look excellent behind my Lady Anne. If you've got too many of them you can send them here. :D

Agreed, you've made a really nice job of those coaches!

Super job Rod. They look great even if they are in the wrong colour  .

I agree about the quality of the kits, although I have never built one of the latest laser cut versions which look even better than the earlier ones.

Have you used the four-wheel axle-boxes and if so how do you find them on the track? The long wheelbase makes them a bit of challenge on mine. I had to convert them to bogies and now they are very sure-footed, run like a dream.

Hi Graham
I have used the four-wheel axle boxes, no problem with running.
The new laser cut kits are superb and great value for money.

Mmm... very interesting. What wheels are you using please?

It is of particular intereest because I have a full brake that is nearly finished and I am deciding whether to put bogies on it or give it another go with the four wheels. Could be that it was the rather fine flanges on the wheels Brandbright sold me that were the root cause of the challenges.

The wheels I have used are standard 25mm dia with a 2mm depth flange and I am fairly sure I purchased them from Brandbright.
Other disc wheels I use of the same size I order from P & J models.
