I've just fitted an eMotion XL (Massoth 8150001) to a home made railbus with a Bachman railtruck chassis, old Bachmann board, etc removed and everything wired thru' decoder, which has been around a while. Sprog won't read it. On the test track - LGB 55006p powered - lights come on (F9 not working), bus responds forward and back. L0 not selected. This is an ex-chip, isn't it? But why is it getting anything in the way of commands and responding?

Help!

Depends which part of the chip is effected and where it has gone in the circuit.

"For those younger members who may not be aware of the EX chip reference..."

What? Unaware of a Python reference? I don't believe it!
