In a fortnight's time our great niece will be visiting us for the annual trip on North Bay Railway Santa Special. Her first question when she arrives will be, "Where's the train, uncle Gordon?" as I always make a window ledge layout for her visit. So here are a few photos of the layout so far.

Very nice.
I like the way it is organized.
The star 4052 deserves this staging
It seems you did succeed in finding all missing parts , it is great.

Well, the visit was last weekend and the layout met with our great niece Sophia's approval. Below are a couple of video links of the final setup. My still camera is not at its best with video, especially in dull light as in the second video, so the videos are not Cecil B de Mille!

This is excellent! I have re-populated my outdoor LGB layout with Playmobil people. Though their poses are limited -- especially not having knee-joints -- the great gift of imagination checks in and they can be most pleasingly realistic as your layout has demonstrated. And of course -- one must have lots of lights! Those strings of Christmas lights with their timer boxes are absolutely perfect.
So Mr de-Mille, thank you for this delightful interlude!

Thank you that's much appreciated and, as you say, Playmobil plus imagination can do pretty well anything.
