The contractors expect to finish the block paving by Thursday evening.
The new control cabin is due to be delivered and erected on Friday. I will post pictures tomorrow if all goes to plan.

The block paving for the picnic area is complete:-

The access ramp and steps require the handrails to be fitted.
When the contractors return it will be time for the CFR extension to be built.

It's amazing how much bigger the space looks with all the rubble cleared, the security fencing down and the paving in place.

Have fun fitting out the new cabin, must be exciting to have a blank canvas to work from. How much of the line can you see from the window? Hopefully the contracts aren't kept too long at Loughborough and are back soon to finish off the extension :)

Nice looking shed..

Now, if we got a couple of scaffold poles under it.. I reckon we could roll it forward (one inter-floor-bearer-gap) distance, to get a coat of paint on the back.. :nerd:

What do you reckon? :)

Metal roof ?
Looks like Coraline to me?

I have the same stuff on my sheds.

It looks like 'wiggly tin' as we call corrugated iron in the military, but it is made of bitumen and fibres....

We have something like that here made of some type of plastic..
We have wiggly plastic too, but it tends to go brittle in the sun after a few years.

Coraline is much more durable, and easily cut with a saw....
