I have finally got a week off coming up with no DIY. I would like to build something for the railway a station type building or goods warehouse or station halt.
being new to G scale does anybody have any plans they would share with me. to give me better ideas of scale and size.
space is tight and buildings would be about 6 to 8 inches deep.
i run mainly american freight.
any suggestions welcome
many thanks

Brian,
Jackson's Miniatures sells "plan packs" of 5 different buildings - engine shed, goods shed, station, signal box, and lineside building. The plan packs are the same as the kits - doors and windows and full instructions - but without the pre-cut pieces. You can see them at http://www.jacksonsminiatures.com/bottomrailway.html < Link To Jackson's Miniatures garden railway buildings
I hope that helps.

He says he runs US freight mainly so I suspect he want US style buildings.
Thanks Ross. That thought crossed my mind but unfortunately only after I had posted my reply. I really must stick to my rule of not replying to messages :)
And if he is US based then he won't get anything from the UK until his week's vacation is almost over!
