Building plans

I have finally got a week off coming up with no DIY. I would like to build something for the railway a station type building or goods warehouse or station halt.
being new to G scale does anybody have any plans they would share with me. to give me better ideas of scale and size.
space is tight and buildings would be about 6 to 8 inches deep.
i run mainly american freight.
any suggestions welcome

Jackson's Miniatures sells "plan packs" of 5 different buildings - engine shed, goods shed, station, signal box, and lineside building. The plan packs are the same as the kits - doors and windows and full instructions - but without the pre-cut pieces. He says he runs US freight mainly so I suspect he want US style buildings.

Thanks Ross. That thought crossed my mind but unfortunately only after I had posted my reply. I really must stick to my rule of not replying to messages
And if he is US based then he won't get anything from the UK until his week's vacation is almost over!
