Can someone advise how these clip fit on?

42 PIECES PIKO G SCALE RAILWAY TRACK CLIP SET OF LGB BACHMANN COMPATIBLE TRAIN | eBay

Says theyre compatible with lgb track too

Cant find any photos of these in place

Any help and advice would be great
They fit on the underside of the plastic sleeper web. If you check the last sleeper on each end of a piece of track you'll see a small cut out which the end bit of these clips fit into. They stop the track pulling apart, I'll try and add a photo a little later. If you're after some of these I've got loads and they'll be much cheaper than those on eBay.
Photos of track and cutouts. Can't lay my hands on one at the moment to show in situ. Too late to go pulling around in the garage. The red circles show where the clips fit in. A sort of tensioner, if you like.

They are very useful but will not fit if you have any cut any lengths as there will be no slot. But you could cut one I suppose with a small hacksaw where they are missing.

I have used these find they are fine on straight and R1, but not long enough to fit R3?, and the few I tried to fit to R3 "popped" off during the summer.
These are slightly different from the LGB ones I have.

I use them to maintain the intermediate sleeper spacing on flex track. Jimmy is right, the clips don't like to stay in place so I've safety wired them to one end sleeper of each section of sleepers. Will add a pic tomorrow when it's daylight here.

Just remembered I had some made up flex in the garage.

I use these, as they are useful to stop the track drifting apart, especially on R1/R2 curves.

I call them 'dog bones'. The PIKO ones have a raised 'pip' on one side, but are otherwise the same as the LGB ones....
