Probably not the best of pics, but taken in the iPad just now under house light. Probably have some pics of both in the Garden and on some of my other posts about 2K pics ago!

Nope, forget the trains, it's that grotty factory in the second of picture of Sean's that gets me. Love it, when is it programmed to collapse?

Well done for sure. The fine weathering detail on the box car is my favorite. Of course I love the plow/spreader/flanger having just made one. I very much like your design and weathering. Has it been tested in the snow? (Yes it has - I just saw the photo in the MOW thread). Nice.

The 2-10-2 looks like it has been through years of hard service. I can almost smell hot oil and grunge just looking at it.

I weather a fair bit of my stock, at least lightly to take the plastic sheen off. Here are some examples.
IMG_2681-(1024x683).jpg
Lightly weathered Aristo representing Jamaica Government Railways no 62

IMG_2681-(1024x683).jpg R0001415-(1024x614).jpg
LGB reefer with a lightly weathered Roundhouse Little John

IMGP0013-(1024x541).jpg
A pair of LGB Forneys with the particularly gaudy Columbus toned down quite a bit.

I'm not sure why the top image appears twice but hey ho...

IMG_2388.JPG IMG_2370.JPGHi IMG_2375.JPG IMG_2389.JPG Here are s few of my locos weathered to operate on my Cuban Sugar Mill depot layout
Generally modified from proprietary toy like models.
The weathering I think bringing out much detail and giving them presence

I'm wary about weathering expensive items, in case I make a mess of it..............:mask::mask::mask:

but I did do this one because, when it was new, the colour was just a bit too bright
